I appreciate the thoughtful response, especially your intuition that we see the world differently. I actually think it’s the same conversation. I, too, wish the world were such that we could rely on compassion and kindness to get people to face danger in order to help other people. It is disturbing that it takes a profit-motive to make it happen in the world we live in. But I don’t know a better way. And until Uber and Lyft and others came along, we couldn’t even imagine a better way.
